General Information

2019 10th International Conference on Chemical Engineering and Applications (CCEA 2019) will be held during May 29-31, 2019  in Beihang University, China.

Chemical engineering is a branch of engineering that applies physical sciences (physics and chemistry), life sciences (microbiology and biochemistry), together with applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, transport, and properly use chemicals, materials and energy. A chemical engineer designs large-scale processes that convert chemicals, raw materials, living cells, microorganisms and energy into useful forms and products.

CCEA 2019 is sponsored by Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES). It brings together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Chemical Engineering and Applications to a common forum. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Chemical Engineering and Applications. Another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working in Hong Kong and abroad. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Chemical Engineering and Applications and related areas.

All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability.

CCEA 2019 will be published in International Journal of Chemical Engineering and Applications (IJCEA, ISSN:2010-0221), and all papers will be indexed by Chemical Abstracts Services (CAS), Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, CABI, DOAJ, Electronic Journals Library, Google Scholar, Engineering & Technology Digital Library, ProQuest, and Crossref.

View of Being, China

Beijing , also known as Peking , is the capital of the People's Republic of China and one of the most populous cities in the world, with a population of 19,612,368 as of 2010. The city is the country's political, cultural, and educational center, and home to the headquarters for most of China's largest state-owned companies. The metropolis, located in northern China, borders Hebei Province to the north, west, south, and a small section to the east, and Tianjin Municipality to the southeast.

Few cities in the world have served as long as the political and cultural centre of an area as immense. Beijing is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. It has been the heart of China’s history for centuries, and there is scarcely a major building of any age in Beijing that does not have at least some national historical significance. The city is renowned for its opulent palaces, temples, and huge stone walls and gates. Its art treasures and universities have long made it a centre of culture and art in China.
